Hi Lorna

Well done on the great article in the latest NRAS magazine. It's always lovely to see featured articles by friends you know from the forum. I think you have composed a well balanced and very positive (sorry, I'm always going on about being positive!!) piece. All credit to you as this is the kind of item I imagine newly diagnosed (and others, of course!) readers will enjoy; it offers comfort, optimism and hope.

Love the gardening photo, your garden is so green, looks fab!! If you have a spare few hours .... Smile

Also agree. A very well thought out and written article which will give encouragement to so many sufferers. It was also nice to see the pictures of you in your garden and with your lovely family.

Thought you might have given the forthcoming trip to Katmandu a plug, though!!!RollEyes

Hi All,

Thank you for the positive comments, I am only too happy to give others hope and encouragement. I did sit and have a cry when writing this as it was really hard to remember how bad it was at that time. But hey ho I got through it and long may it continue. ThumpUp

You all say about my garden being so green......Well you should see it now so white and hard icy snow..... Smile

Yes I am getting ready for our next trip............Lapland wont know what has hit it when our merry bunch take to the North BigGrin BigGrin

Hi Lorna,

I too enjoyed your article, and I`m sure it will give lots of hope to anyone recently diagnosed. You wrote very clearly about how things were at first, and the photos were lovely too.

Hi Lorna

I've read the article this morning and have to agree with others that it is such a well written and positive RA journey. I always like reading peoples stories, it's the first thing that I look for, added bonus this time because I sort of know you.

Anyone reading this who's just been diagnosed with RA would of found it reassuring to see that things can and do get better.
